Homer Garrott blazed a trail for the CHP

The California Highway Patrol is the fine organization it is because of those who blazed the trail before us. One of those CHP Pioneers is Homer Garrott. While a diversified group of CHP officers is obviously normal in today’s world, it was not always that way.

APB Advertising

The CAHP publishes a bimonthly (every other month) newsletter, the APB, which is mailed to CAHP members only. The APB contains articles about benefits, legislation and other Association-related items of interest to CHP officers. The circulation is just over 15,000.

About the CAHP

The California Association of Highway Patrolmen is, at its heart, a labor union that advocates on behalf of uniformed California Highway Patrol officers in matters related to pay, benefits and working conditions. But ultimately, we are so much more. Dedicated to serving all our members – including active officers at all ranks, retired CHP officers and survivors – the CAHP constantly strives to ensure we are a trusted leader in membership advocacy.
